Membership & get involved

A national party is built street by street.

We are a national party with a single, testable idea: Britain's land should fund Britain, and the wealth people create with their own hands should be left alone. What we need now is members, candidates and people willing to knock on a door.

Become a member

£20 a year. Open to anyone who supports the party's objectives, that is the whole test. One vote on the platform, the candidates and the leadership, plus the manifesto in print.

Volunteer locally

Leaflet a street, staff a stall, host a talk or plug us on social media

Stand as a candidate

We want candidates in every region, council seats first, parliamentary seats next. Training and agent support provided.

Donate

Leaflets, deposits, research and the unglamorous work of running a registered party, with the option to direct your gift to an aligned campaign. Details below.

£20

Annual membership, renewed once a year.

Register your interest

Tell us how you would like to help and your regional organiser will be in touch. Membership is open to anyone who supports the party's objectives.

We only use your details to contact you about the party. Donations are accepted from permissible donors only and reported as the law requires.

Donate

Fund the party that would tax land, not work.

We have no lobby and no vested interests behind us, that is rather the point. Everything below is paid for by people who want Britain's land to fund Britain.

What your money pays for

The standard work of a political party, nothing exotic. And if there is an aligned cause you would rather your gift reached, you can say so.

Campaigning & literature

Leaflets, posters, stalls and social media. Most of our campaigning is a handful of neighbours and a kettle, but the leaflets still have to be printed.

Elections & deposits

Council seats first, parliamentary seats next. Deposits, election addresses and freepost leaflets are where a small party's money actually goes.

Research & policy

The manifesto in print, policy papers, the figures behind the tax calculator and briefings for candidates facing a hostile interview.

Local organisation

Regional organisers, member meetings, training for candidates and agents, the boring machinery that turns supporters into votes.

Compliance & administration

Electoral Commission filings, the registered office, insurance and accounts. Unromantic, legally required, and paid for by members.

Aligned organisations

If you wish, part of your gift can be directed to aligned campaigns, land reform research, the wider Georgist movement, or a specific project. Tell us on the form.

Become a member

Choose your membership level, renewed once a year. The payment itself will be collected by Direct Debit or PayPal once our accounts are connected, for now this registers your intention.

Membership level

Gifts of £500 or less sit outside the donations law, no declarations, no checks, no paperwork. Just your name and address so we can say thank you.

Gifts of £500 or less

Sit outside the political donations law entirely, no recording, no reporting. That covers almost every gift this page will ever see.

Larger gifts, reported properly

Above £500 we must record and check every donation. Gifts over £11,180 from the same source in a calendar year are reported to the Electoral Commission and published, the threshold then falls to £2,230 for the rest of that year. We will ask before accepting anything that puts you in the public register.

British electors only, above £500

The whole world can read this site, but once a gift passes £500 it may only come from a UK-registered elector or a UK-registered company carrying on business here. Money from anyone else must be returned or forfeited, so larger gifts come with a short declaration, and smaller ones with none at all.
